Rebecca grew up in Rochester, NY and graduated from Haverford College with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. In her 15 years of professional experience as a journalist in TV, radio, and print, she has honed her storytelling and writing skills. Rebecca has worked for top news sources andhas speciality in topics that include science, business, environment, agriculture, education, politics, society, gender, and more! As a journalist, Rebecca is a seasoned interviewer, which is a skill she uses to guide her students in meetings as well as prepare them for their own college interviews.

She is an expert writer with deep understanding of the China educational context, having lived in China for over a decade. WIth over 8 years of application consulting, Rebecca is an experienced writing mentor who encourages students to follow their curiosity to explore their interests and develop their academic and professional goals. In her home life, Rebecca enjoys cooking and heading out on adventures with her two kids.
