Summer & Winter Odysseys: Exclusive tours and learning opportunities at top colleges throughout the US

This three-week-long program provides important application preparation on many levels. During the first two weeks, students get a feel for college campus life, residing in college dorms and taking intensive writing courses with college professors. Students also attend SAT/ACT classes and 1-on-1 tutoring sessions from ESC instructors. The group visits over 16 top colleges in New England, including Yale, Tufts, Smith, and others. In the third week, the group continues its tour to schools like Columbia, Haverford, and University of Chicago. At each school, students enjoy private campus tours and small-group sessions with admission officers and professors. In all, they develop a nuanced sense of the great variety that exists within the US college landscape.

During this two-week program, students visit many of the same colleges as the Summer Odyssey, and likewise take part in private tours and meetings with admission officers. The group experiences life on college campuses while school is in session, and we arrange for them to sit in on college classes and stay overnight in dormitories with current students – oftentimes, former ESC students!
