Annie graduated from Vassar College with dual degrees in Education and Media Studies. She earned general honors, departmental honors for both of her majors, and a Phi Beta Kappa induction. At Vassar, she was on the student committee at the on-campus art center for all four years and in a dance group. For her senior thesis, Annie researched Asian American sexual literacies in family, schooling, and media, focusing on the experiences of women and gender non-binary people.

She has worked with students in varying capacities as an art teacher, tutor, student leader, and academic intern. Having been an intern and teaching fellow at ESC, Annie has returned to help students hone their unique interests and foster intellectual curiosity. Annie loves helping students weave their personal narratives into creative pursuits from crafting portfolios to interdisciplinary research.
