“I love working at ESC! As part of the I-Team (advising Chinese students in US/Canadian secondary schools), I work from my home in Connecticut, and have great flexibility in organizing my time. I-Team students tend to be bright and engaged, relatively knowledgeable about US culture, and well-prepared academically and linguistically. The tone of communication with both students and fellow ESC staff is warm and friendly; I definitely feel like I’m an integral part of a team, while also enjoying the autonomy to structure my interactions as best fit each situation. ESC is a growing organization, and I’ve found it exciting and educational to watch it develop and to be part of its success – and that of my students.”
