Yuxi graduated from Wellesley College as an environmental studies major and anthropology minor. At Wellesley, she worked as a writing tutor and a research assistant. She won the Katherine Malone Sophomore Prize for academic excellence. Outside of Wellesley, Yuxi has studied and traveled in Cambodia and Germany while pursuing her interests in sustainability. She won the School for Field Studies’ Distinguished Student Researcher Award for her research on non-timber forest products in Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary in Cambodia. She also received a grant to research veganism in Shanghai. Yuxi is passionate about the transformative potential of international education and experiential learning. She values the holistic development of her students, and enjoys guiding students to tell their stories through robust writing. In her free time, Yuxi enjoys long walks, traveling, and plant-based cooking.
