Michael Memari

Michael is orginally from San Diego, California, and received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, where he studied International Relations. After graduating, he lived in Egypt for a year while working at the American University in Cairo, then served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Turkey, and interned at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Michael is a former recipient of the U.S. Critical Language Scholarship and speaks Persian, Spanish, and Turkish. Most recently, he graduated from the University of Oxford with an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies. Michael loves helping students discover their passions and unique voices, and he has assisted international high school students for several years with the university application process, crafting compelling personal narratives.
