Ellyn Levin

Ellyn is originally from Philadelphia and lived in Switzerland working with international students in the college application process. Ellyn has over 35 years of experience in U.S. higher education and 22 years as a college counselor at the International School of Geneva.
After working with over 1,000 students of diverse nationalities, Ellyn is an expert at guiding students to highlight their individual uniqueness, securing acceptances at the most selective universities and colleges in the world. She has also personally visited hundreds of universities and developed meaningful relationships with key admissions officers.
Ellyn is a mentor and motivator, ready to encourage and support her students. In 2020, she received the International Association for College Admission Counseling Lifetime Achievement Award. This award, which represents international ACAC’s highest member tribute, is presented to an individual who, over a period of years, has performed outstanding service to interactional ACAC, to our profession, and the international college counseling community. Not only a college counselor, Ellyn was also an application reader for several universities in the U.S. and is certified in career testing and counseling. In her free time you will usually find Ellyn traveling or at the beach with her rescue dog.
