Caroline majored in English with a concentration in creative writing at Haverford College, where she worked as a peer tutor, interned for the communications department, and edited stories for the student newspaper in her free time. She won numerous awards for her creative and academic writing, including a merit scholarship to Westtown School and a Scholastic Art and Writing Award. In 2011, her family moved to Beijing for a year, an experience which left her with a deep and abiding appreciation for Chinese culture and the Chinese language. Caroline is passionate about helping students learn how to put their most formative experiences into words. In her spare time, Caroline reads, writes for magazines, travels, and tries to resist adopting every stray dog that crosses her path.
