Brittany graduated from Pomona College with degrees in Cognitive Science and French. At Pomona, she was involved with the Asian American/Pacific Islander community on campus as an intern and mentor, and she cultivated her love of singing as a member of the Pomona College Choir and the Glee Club. She also served as a research assistant in a psychology lab studying parent-child relationships and emotions, which contributed to her senior thesis on maternal language and child cognitive outcomes. Brittany studied abroad in Nantes, France, and her experience as an English Teaching Assistant working with French middle-school students taught her the value of engaging in linguistic and cultural exchange. At ESC, she is passionate about getting to know students and helping them gain confidence in presenting their stories and experiences. In terms of her interests, it’s all “pun and games” with Brittany, who enjoys board games with friends and groan-worthy jokes.
